Kaş is 25 minutes east of Kalkan and Fethiye a little over an hour west. Both make easy day trips, and Saklıkent Canyon in between is the coolest stop on the road.
Kaş is 25 minutes east of Kalkan: younger, livelier, the centre of diving and paragliding. A little over an hour west lies Fethiye, the largest town in the area, with the Ölüdeniz lagoon, Babadağ and Kayaköy. Saklıkent Canyon is in between.
25 minutes east of Kalkan, a livelier town with a younger feel. It is considered Türkiye’s diving capital, and its ancient theatre looks out to the island of Kastellorizo. In the evening the shops and meyhanes of Uzun Çarşı fill up.

About 80 km west of Kalkan, the largest town in the area. Here you find the Ölüdeniz lagoon, paragliding from Babadağ, the abandoned village of Kayaköy and the rock-cut tombs of Amyntas. At the fish market, nearby restaurants cook the fish you choose.
